All plumbing and drainage work is assessed under the National Plumbing Code of Australia. All projects that incorporate water supply work, sanitary plumbing and drainage work or stormwater work are assessable under this Act and enable Council to ensure the highest quality of work and the most up to date technologies are being employed. Backflow prevention and On-Site Sewerage systems are two of the major areas that have been dramatically upgraded within the Town area since the introduction of the Code.
