Due
to recent rainfall in the catchment area and water
flowing into Loudoun Weir, Dalby Town Council has resolved
to change watering times under current Level Three
restrictions. Restrictions are applicable to all Town
of Dalby and Wambo Shire residents connected to the
Dalby Water Supply.
The new watering times will come into effect from
12 midnight on Friday, 7 December, 2007 and shall apply
as follows:-
(a) a total ban on sprinklers and hosing on MONDAY
of each week;
(b) Watering with buckets is still allowed at any
time between Tuesday to Sunday
(c) (i) properties with an even
numbered street address shall be permitted to use
hoses, sprinklers, irrigators
and soaker hoses between the hours of 5pm – 7pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday of each week;
(d) (ii) properties with an odd
numbered street address, sporting and recreational
clubs and properties with
no number shall be permitted to use hoses, sprinklers,
irrigators and soaker hoses between the hours of 5pm – 7pm on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday of each week;
(e) the water restrictions shall apply to all lands
within the Town area and other areas connected to Dalby
Town Council Water Supply.

residents connected to the Dalby Town Council Water
Supply are advised that authorised Council officers
will be monitoring adherence to the programme and
all residents are requested to abide by the restrictions,
as failure to do so will incur a fine.
