BUILDING

Development Applications are required to be lodged for all work defined as 'Building Work'. Building work includes building, repairing, altering, underpinning, moving or demolishing a building or other structure, or the excavating or filling associated with the above works, and works which may adversely affect the stability of a building or other structure on adjoining land or the same parcel of land. Included also is any work undertaken to support land for the above.

Council's Building Section can assist by privately certifying your application for building work in another area other than within the Town of Dalby, thereby eliminating the need to travel to that locality. This approval has the same effect as if an approval was issued by that local authority. This approval process applies to all building work.
